THE SAGAPONACK

SECONDARY LOGO + COLLATERAL DESIGN

BRAND IDENTITY AND COLLATERAL FOR A HOTEL IN THE HAMPTONS.

The Sagaponack was another client I worked with at Might + Main. While brand identity was the overarching scope of this project, I specifically worked on creating a secondary logo, as well as hotel collateral including Do Not Disturb signs, stationary, key cards and more.

Through the development of a complex and eloquent brand identity with subtle hints of Long Island’s history, The Sagaponack is a timeless destination for those wanting to take in all that The Hamptons have to offer.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

Derived from the Shinnecock Nation, Sagaponack loosely translates to “land of the ground nut”, which presented the idea of integrating local flora into the brand identity.

From there, using the secondary logo and the existing branding from Might + Main, a full run of collateral was designed using local assets like century old nautical maps, and more recent eloquent decor that The Hamptons has grown accustomed to.
