EUDAIMONIA
PRODUCTION DESIGN
Eudaimonia, which loosely refers to the “good life” is a short film that uncovers the stories of four individuals, all in different walks of life, who are drawn together through a deep, underlying connection with the ocean. Directed and produced by Zach Steere and Daniel Dekkers, Eudaimonia became part of Finisterre’s northeast film tour alongside “Return to the Bearing” and “Lucuma”.
This project consisted of creating a visual identity and system for the film as well as a full run of collateral, including social media graphics, event posters, and more.
PRODUCTION DESIGN foR a SHORT FILM.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
Throughout Eudaimonia, there is a subtle sense of sophistication that becomes an underlying theme, so creating a visual identity that played off of elements of the production was a goal for this project.
Through the use of a stripped back serif font and its pairing with a modern, variable sans serif, the visual identity for the film gave it a cohesive look and feel.
